D&G, DSquared2, Emporio Armani, Just Cavalli.

I WANT EVERYTHING! They had amazing collection, I would have to say they are on the top. 

Con Waltmart ... Cualmar?

I had to create an anti-publicity, that supported ecology. I created a design that doesn't make sense at all in english!!! hahaha! (I study in spanish, just incase you didn't know) Well I chose  Walmart because they generate too much trash with their bags, receipts, packing of things... They should instead,  minumize the usage of plastic bags, of receipts and specially of unnecessary packing! All this is trashing  our waters. They are a global company that can demande less packing and with the right arguments could get it. Sorry, I am a little excited about this. 

The shirt says "Cualmar" which its literal translation mean "Which Sea" with watmart we have no sea. I inverted the colors to represent how the sun is sweating and how the "earth" is dry. So no to global warming.

Project Green Flame

I had a project were they assigned us a product and we had to find a 'reuse' ... you know its after life. I was given the a local ice cream brand 'Pecositas'. (They only sell ice cream in cups.) Graphite Sketch of a Seal

Like most drawings there is a photo. I got this photo from the photography book by Frans Lanting 'Eye to Eye'. 

And this is my first try to what I like to call "professional" sketching. Meaning this time I took measure and got the right tools. 

With some more practice, I think I will be able to make better drawings :) and hopefully someday it will look very realistic. Regardless, I love my first attempt:D

:) ANA SUI, ELIE TAHARI, MILLY Y MELISSA SMITH... hands off <3

I adore their collections! A Sui always knows how to make things great! Elie Tahari well I think her and I could be really good friends, we both like GOLD:) and Milly made an amazing first impression on me! I had never heard of her or seen her work but I will without a doubt keep up with her work. 

Ps. 3.1 Phillip Lim .. let me down:(!

AD. (maqueta logo y nombre)

Así como todo logo y nombre. Hay un estudio y unos sketches. El estudio del nombre no lo tengo aquí pero básicamente la palabra apice es la punta del caracol. Mi compañera y yo escogimos este nombre ya que queremos que nuestros clientes confíen en que nosotras siempre estamos en la punta, en lo mas alto, arriba de sus diseños y deseos. Luego empezó un extensivo estudio de los tipos de caracoles. Yo llegue a la conclusión de dos que me parecieron extraordinarios (los de la izquierda). Empezó a bocetiar como loca, los primeros como siempre horribles con mas tiempo mas se simplificaba y tenia mas presencia. Llegue al #10 y quede completamente enamorada. y desde entonces supe que era ese. 

Luego hice el estudio de los diferentes colores que se encuentran en el ambiente de un caracol para llegar a estos colores. y bueno aquí igual podemos ver el diseño completo, aun es una maqueta :S y espero mejorarla pronto.

Fashion week update #3

I will start by saying these collections are incredible, each one of these designers are artists :D! how ever you knew that so I will explain one by one and why I like each set.

1. Narciso Rodriguez: its formal, geometric, the right elegant colors. I specifically like the detail on the bottom of the shirts :D

2. Theyskens Theory: one word... CHIC! If I saw a girl walking in any of these outfits it would be hard to ignore. I love simpleness and greatness :) I love how we are carrying the leather jacket, the blazer, shorts, jeans, and my favorite the sweater!!!!!! 

3. Vera Wang: I was seriously wowed by the top!! its increible you should check out the rest of the collection its so well done!

4. Betty Johnson: rescued my favorite fashion ... necles statements:D!!! however their collections is very nice, very sexy, but floral. Pin-up, of course jajaja :)

5. Oscar de la Renta: I'll take them all :) I was drawn in right when I saw red, yellow, aaahhh amazingness.. and the shoesss omgsh! I'll take them in all the colors! no kidding!

6. last but not least.. MARC BY MARC JACOBS! everything he does I love, however ... he has done better. I did fall in love with this outfit I could wear it everyday :P!

Fashion Week Highlights: Custo Barcelona & Zac Polsen

Custo has left me speechless, I seriously saw around 10 or more catwalks after this one and liked none... I simply blame Custo Barcelona, outstanding work! I can't wait for my alarms to start going off :D!

Fashion week so started !

This fashion week I will try going to random designers I don't really regonize, because it happens to be there are some amazing ones out there.. for example vivienne tam, tracy reese, and charlotte ranson!:) I think I fell in love with dresses and skirts, once again. I will keep posting more updates as time goes by!:D

Blogs Update

Here are some of my favorite blogs and well recently I have been able to catch up. I will do a small update of the blogs and I picked out a post I liked.

1. Kelli Murray 

I have been following her blog for about 6 months now, and I am very glad to see Rylee, her baby in this world now :) I congratulate her for becoming a mom now... and her friend Erica, who takes amazing photos. 

 2. The Cherry Blossom Girl

Her name is Alix, she studies fashion. Basically I love her blog, cause of photography, she will suggest amazing music, and I like her sense of fashion.

 3.bumbumbum

Cecilie is a graphic designer, however she blogs anything in the art world. I picked this post cause I just found the color amazing and shocking. I simply loved the work of Christel Bangsgaard. Which I wouldn't have seen if it wasn't for Cecilie. 

Here, is something a little different as well from her blog. This a project called 'The Art of Clean Up' by  Ursus Werhli.

 4.Garance Dore

Okay so, Garance is my favorite blogger, I lover her style in photography... in fashion.. in food..etc. I believe anything she does is amazing hahaha :)  I highly suggest checking her blog out.

 5.Sea of Shoes

I love Jane's blog, I think she is unique and original. I like how she will wear things most people wouldn't.

6. Recyclart

Once, in a while they will have amazing ideas up:) like this lamp idea i love it.

 7. Designboom

They always have mind blowing projects like this one. You should just go ahead click on the photo and read all about it.  I was left speechless. 

 8.todayandtomorrow I think its my second favorite, but I want you to find out on your why :)
