It’s been a week and a half, and I don’t have the words to explain the things I have learned or seen. I see it’s different but I also see it’s the same… Then again its just culture. In life we all need goals, we all need love, and we all need food as well as health. Some have more than others but others enjoy the little they have. Really that’s everywhere.
What I want to write about its how wonderfully different life seems to be in such dry land. When I look around I see people wearing robes with colorful patterns and with a beautiful embroiling. That is exactly how their personality is outgoing, happy but with this fine conservative touch. That is also exactly how their food tastes like crazy, wild mystery of 5 or more ingredients. But then again life in general is also like their robes…with a lot of colors in different patterns …With happiness in different forms and occasions. The embroiling resembling those smalls details that makes our life extra exotic and distinct from others.
So I guess Africa with its enchantment and hardships… have a lot in common and a lot to learn from. I simply pray that God blesses them, because they try hard to find the way to Him.
