Piece 1 : Friends

Friends, I have so many... some of them are best friends. I've had the privilege to meet wonderful people who have become a living proof of the definition of a best friend. They have brought me happiness, sadness, comfort, really just any emotion possible. However, I don’t believe best friends are forever. I think we share our best friends with others and therefore, they stop being our best friends. But they never stop being our good friends, they are still there… I know these special people are there for me as I am here for them!!!! thank you
Anyways, Who doesn’t love stars?

Why Senegal?

I talk to my parents about going to Africa after I finished High School, they approved. But they asked me to where. My first choice was DRC, just because I had represented them a couple of times in Model United Nations. However, that wasn’t God’s plan… the day after I proposed it to my parents, the rebels riot in DRC. Obviously, my parents were not comfortable with that. So, I kept researching about other countries.

Until one day, my dad was in the car listening to the radio. There was an interview with a Costa Rican Family serving in Senegal. My dad wrote down the email address, and communicated with them. As time when by and we learned more, we realized God was opening the doors. It was then and there when we decided that I should go with them to
THIES, SENEGAL.
